Spike Lee's She's Gotta Have It

Spike Lee’s She’s Gotta Have It released its 2nd season on Netflix in 2019. In one special episode, Eli Jacobs-Fantauzzi and I were lucky to be part of Defend Puerto Rico. We acted as Nola Darling’s eye, capturing photos of her trip to Puerto Rico. The episode shows montages of our photos, some of which are below. It was meaningful to see the story made in Puerto Rico, with 80% of the crew from the island and real storytelling from Lemon Anderson, which is rare in scripted shows about Puerto Rico and its diaspora.
